Bear Deterrent/Flare Gun

If you are spending time both on the water and on land and would like to have Bear Deterrent as well as your Flare Gun on the water. Bear Deterrent cartridges for your Orion Flare Gun might be the solution. The Flare Gun can be purchased with flare shells which is the common way you find it for sale. Most Marine Stores and many Sporting Goods stores carry it. It can also be purchased with the bear deterrent rounds. The launcher that comes with the bear deterrent rounds is green while the launcher that comes with the flare rounds is bright orange. Whichever launcher you have however you can purchase flare or bear rounds and they are interchangeable. We have these on our kayaks so that we have emergency signaling capabilities on the water, and if we feel like wandering around on shore can carry the same launcher with the bear deterrent rounds.
