Curing Baits with Pautzke Fire Brine

We prefer to cure our bait. We have tried a number of different solutions however Pautzke Fire Brine is our default recipe now. It works on both bait fish and shrimp. It is very easy, simply soak the bait in the premixed solution. Often we also add Pautzke Fire Dye to enhance the color. The brine cures the bait making it stay on the hook better and makes it more attractive to the fish.
